SAFETY AT CAMP
Health monitoring is carried out by a health assistant (SA) with a PSC1 (or equivalent) qualification.
The health assistant is responsible for :
- Ensuring a daily presence.
- Managing “bobology”: care of minor ailments that are not serious and do not require the administration of medication. All care is recorded in a register.
- Accompanying a sick child to the doctor (or other medical body) and informing the family after the medical diagnosis.
- To follow the distribution of medical treatments. At the beginning of the stay, the medicines are collected and stored in a safe place (locked premises). He/she ensures that they are administered in due time. Please note that the SA is not authorised to administer medication without a medical prescription; it is therefore essential that the prescription is provided with the medication.
- In case of a visit to the doctor during the stay, Anatolia will advance the medical/pharmaceutical costs. A summary invoice of the costs incurred is then sent to the family, together with photocopies of the treatment forms. The originals are sent upon receipt of the family’s payment.
- NB: partnerships with certain local authorities sometimes provide for reimbursement directly from the local authority.
- In the event of an accident during the stay, a declaration is systematically made to our insurance company, which then contacts the family.
- All our trips abroad already include this additional repatriation insurance.
