MUSIC & DANCE AS AN ART

Overview

Art, in its most general definition, is understood as the expression of creativity and imagination. In particular, the most widely accepted definition is that art consists of sub-genres of literature, painting, music, theatre, cinema, architecture, and sculpture.

Music, which means the harmonious sounds that humans add to nature, is an art that is somehow present in all human societies. None of the main elements in music such as rhythm, tonality, dynamics, and tone take place in music alone, but together they create a musical integrity. Music can be created not only with the emotions reflected from the inside of the person, but also with knowledge and understanding.

Dance can be a tradition, an art, a form of treatment or just a form of expression, in which the whole body can be exercised along with aesthetics, accompanied by a musical rhythm.

During one- or two-week camp, the youngsters create dance figures with music and understand the exact art with this way.
