Overview

Cultural heritage can be defined as a source of identity, harmony and creativity, which includes the common stories and adventures of a society and all kinds of cultural creations, and strengthens the sense of solidarity and unity among people with the various traditional knowledge and practices it contains. It is clear that culture adds diversity and freedom to our lives thanks to its various aspects ranging from historical monuments to museums, from traditional practices to contemporary art. Cultural heritage, which includes intangible cultural elements as well as tangible elements, shapes the world of today and the future on the basis of original contents that it constantly reproduces with the help of the accumulations it carries from the past.

During one- or two-week camp, the youngsters discover different cultural heritage aspects visiting cultural and historical places, learn about intangible cultural elements using story telling method and performing some theatrical practices.
